VCL is all about helping riders grow — whether you’re just starting out or dreaming big. Our volunteer coaches, many of them current or former racers, bring bags of passion & experience to every session.

For youth riders, we offer track-focused training that builds skills, sharpens tactics, & boosts confidence. Beginners usually kick things off at HHV’s own entry-level sessions & move up at their own pace with expert guidance.

We also run Sunday social rides for both youth & adults — a relaxed way to gain confidence, meet other riders, & safely enjoy the road, all led by experienced ride leaders & parent volunteers.

Our calendar’s packed with events, including an annual trip to Belgium for the Tour of Flanders where riders get to tackle iconic cobbled climbs, then watch the pros race — often cheering on former VCL members who’ve gone pro!

Whether you ride for fun or have big goals, VCL is about community, support & a lifelong love of cycling.
