Since 1964, Velo Club Londres (VCL) has helped young people develop through cycling, building skills, confidence and resilience both on and off the bike.
Our alumni include WorldTour riders Fred Wright, Ethan Hayter, Leo Hayter, Flora Perkins and Lukas Nerurkar, alongside many others who have gone on to successful careers across sport, business, journalism and the creative industries.
Today, we are looking for sponsors who want to help us develop the next generation of British cycling talent.
WHY SUPPORT VCL RACE TEAM?
Junior cycling (for riders between 16-18 yrs) is becoming increasingly professional, with elite development squads offering international racing, coaching, training camps and equipment.
For many young British riders, particularly in London and the South East, access to these opportunities remains limited and increasingly expensive.
VCL Racing Team is helping to close that gap.
Now completing its third successful season, the team provides regional, national and international racing, including UCI events across Europe. Under the direction of Alex Dutton, our ambition is to build an increasingly structured programme that gives riders the racing, coaching and support they need to progress towards senior cycling.
